Hi
We are looking at a bit of a warming trend for the rest of the week and the weekend with highs hovering in the low 70's and the lows in the upper 40's. It's a great time to enjoy the tree lined streets of Rossmoor and to get out into our parks.
Note: The Friends of the Library Book Sale has been postponed until further notice due to the Omicron transmission rates. Stay safe and well.
Are You Good With Tools?
If you are handy around the house or garage and would like to lend a hand, The Youth Center is in need of some screw tightening and small fixes to help keep things for the kids in tip-top shape. If this is you, give Lina Lumme a call (562.493.4043) and let her know you'd like to help.
Get Shredded - This Month
Our quarterly Rossmoor Get Shredded event is on Saturday, January 29th from 8:00 a.m. to noon at Rush Park. This drive through shredding event is free thanks to event sponsor Sarah Ireland and IRG Properties. Come join us and get rid of those sensitive documents that need to be out of your house, shredded and the paper
recycled.
CR&R Collection
CR&R has been swamped by service requests and Covid. The company issued the note below to share their challenges and to acknowledge they are behind at this time. CR&R knows and is doing all they can to get caught up.
What you can do in the mean time is start separating you your waste into the three carts you have. Yes, at the moment there's only one truck picking up. Soon there will be three separate pick-ups at your home and you will be ready. Already doing what you need to do. It's an opportunity to get some advanced practice. Afterall, practice makes perfect, right?
