Congratulations to Mrs. Angie Haas, kindergarten teacher at Hopkinson Elementary. Mrs. Haas has been selected as Los Alamitos Unified School District 2022 Teacher of the Year!
Angie has a contagious love of learning that she shares each and every day with her students and colleagues. She goes out of her way to aid students with challenges both academically and socially and is truly passionate, caring, and student-centered. During the pandemic shut down, she hosted virtual read alouds, dropped off gifts for students, and made personal phone calls motivating students
to stay on top of their learning.
We join the LAUSD in congratulating Mrs. Haas on this well-deserved recognition!
RHA Welcomes New Board Member
During last night's RHA meeting, the Board welcomed Maryam Guirao as a new Director. Maryam, a 28 year area resident, brings a wealth of local knowledge and community connections to our Board. We look forward to working with Maryam and thank her for her willingness to
serve Rossmoor.
