Well, hot was putting it mildly. FEMA has issued a heat advisory for Rossmoor covering Thursday and Friday for temperatures reaching the mid-90's on both days. We should settle back into the 70's for the weekend, so it will be nice. Be carful out there and stay hydrated. 

Get Shredded  - April

Yes, this is shredding month! Our second quarter free shredding event will be on Saturday, April 23rd at Rush Park from 8:00 to noon. And yes, it's a week earlier than normal due to a scheduling conflict. The good news is that your taxes will already be filed and you can shred all those papers you no longer need to keep. Just drive through on 4/23 between 8 and noon and consider it shredded. 

Rossmoor Resident Turns 104

Several members of the Rossmoor Woman’s Club feted long-time member Charlotte Robertson on her 104th birthday on March 29. Charlotte, who has lived in Rossmoor since 1966, joined RWC in 1972 and is among its longest-serving members of the club, a social and philanthropic organization affiliated with the international General Federation of Women’s Clubs. (Formed in Rossmoor in 1958, the club is actually open to members from throughout Orange and Los Angeles counties.)

The Youth Center always delivers quality programs and is one of their pillar programs.
