Sunday will be the last upper 80s day we see for a while as the temperatures for the week are forecasted to be in the upper 60s to mid-70s. A big change from the heat we've enjoyed this past week.

In any case, enjoy the warm (hot) day for Super Bowl Sunday!

Sweeping on Tuesday

Tuesday (2/15) is the third Tuesday of the month, so EVEN addresses In Rossmoor will be swept. A week from Monday, 2/21, the ODD side of our streets will be swept.

This anomaly when Tuesday comes before Monday only happens when the first of the month is on Tuesday. In 2022, Tuesday opens the month in February, March, and November.

Super Bowl USAF Heritage Flight
Stages out of Los Alamitos

Aircraft representing the Air Force’s 75 years as a service landed at Los Alamitos Army Airfield, California on Tuesday, in preparation for the 2022 Super Bowl LVI Heritage Flyover over SoFi Stadium in Inglewood.

The first-of-its-kind flyover will feature five different jets from five different bases in honor of the U.S. Air Force's 75th anniversary.

All Air Combat Command single ship demonstration teams scheduled to participate in the historic Super Bowl LVI flyover, and include the A-10C Thunderbolt II, F-16 Fighting Falcon, F-35A Lightning II, F-22 Raptor, and a P-51 Mustang from the Air Force Heritage Flight Foundation.

The F-35 will be piloted by Maj. Kristin “Beo” Wolfe, USAF, the first female Air Force pilot to lead the F-35 Demonstration Team.
