Hi
We should have the same weather pattern we have been in, at least through the weekend and into early next week.
Our Memorial Day Monday looks like it will be beautiful to enjoy while we remember those that have given so much so that we can have what we have today. l
Take a moment this weekend to remember and honor them.
Rossmoor Graduation Celebration Parade
Registration is open for the 2022 Rossmoor Graduation Celebration Parade. If you are a graduating high school student from any high school and live in the area, come join us on Saturday June 4th for an exciting parade through Rossmoor. Vehicle registration is required and free. The registration deadline is Noon on Thursday June 2nd. Don't miss out! Register and get the event details here.
For residents, the parade will take the same route as last year, starting in the Shops at Rossmoor and working its way from Rush Park and Hopkinson, passing by Weaver and Lee on its way up to Rossmoor Park and then passing by Rossmoor Elementary before
heading back to the Shops. The parade should be completed before 1:00 Saturday afternoon. There are no road closures for the parade, but we suggest that you avoid northbound Foster if you are trying to leave the tract.
We expect some homes along the route to have front yard gatherings (perhaps a BBQ or two since it's a Saturday?) to cheer on and celebrate our graduates as they wind their way through Rossmoor.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month
While spring is a great time for getting outdoors and enjoying nice weather--it also marks the start of fire season, the end of the school year, and of course graduations from kindergarten through university. If all of the activity has you feeling a bit tired or burned out, this article has some good information that might be beneficial.
