Lots of cloudy to partially sunny days ahead for this week. Not much rain is actually in the forecast though. Look for the nights to be a little cooler dipping into the middle 40s. Still a good time to check out (and nominate) some of our awesome Rossmoor homes for the Christmas Lights Celebration. 

Kids Knight Out December 16th

The youth Center is hosting a December Kids Night Out so the kids can get a break from home (and parents can have a date or just get caught up on present wrapping and the like). If your kids need a night out, that includes dinner, fun and games, book them a seat before they sell out.

Rossmoor Red Cross Blood Drive

The holidays are a great time of year. We celebrate and gather with friends and family. It's usually very busy and hectic, especially if you have children or grand kids around. And, it's also the time of year that the need for blood goes up. There's a number of reasons, but the important thing is, to remember to donate. It usually take less than 30 minutes if you have an appointment and you are on your way. Our Rossmoor Blood Drive is held at Rush Park on the 3rd Wednesday each month from 9 until 3. This month its on 12/21. If you are able, please make an appointment here and give the gift of life for the holidays. It will make a world of difference to someone... Thanks.

Rossmoor's 16th Annual Christmas Lights Celebration
I can't believe how many homes are decked out already this year. It's amazing out there.  Take a walk down most any street and marvel at the displays. drive around a bit and be impressed. And while you're at it, snap a picture or two with your phone, pop open this link and nominate the house for our annual Christmas Lights Celebration. It's that easy to do. And you can win one of the $50 gift cards we are awarding those that nominate the best looking homes. The nominations have started rolling in, make sure you nominate early and often for the best chance to win.

All nominations need to be submitted before 10:00 PM on Friday, December 16, so they can be included on the judging map.
