It appears that the partly sunny skies and mid-40s evenings will continue through the weekend. It also looks like we have a good chance of rain on Sunday morning. It looks like less than a half inch, so not heavy. But, this is SoCal and we might not get any rain at all.

Kids Knight Out December 16th

The youth Center is hosting a December Kids Night Out so the kids can get a break from home (and parents can have a date or just get caught up on present wrapping and the like). If your kids need a night out, that includes dinner, fun and games, book them a seat before they sell out.

Rossmoor Farmers Market Welcomes Rue Pawz

The Rossmoor Farmers Market will feature a new vendor on Thursday. Welcome Rue Pawz Dog Treats. What a great stocking stuffer for your fur babies! Join us between 4 and 7 on Thursday at Rush Park.

And wear your Ugly Sweater. It's cool enough and we can see who's got the ugliest sweater. Anyone think they have one more parade-worthy than our Community Engagement Lead Mary Ann? I think not, but I could be wrong. Bring it! Let's see what you've got!

Rossmoor Red Cross Blood Drive

The holidays are a great time of year. We celebrate and gather with friends and family. It's usually very busy and hectic, especially if you have children or grand kids around. And, it's also the time of year that the need for blood goes up. There's a number of reasons, but the important thing is, to remember to donate. It usually take less than 30 minutes if you have an appointment and you are on your way. Our Rossmoor Blood Drive is held at Rush Park on the 3rd Wednesday each month from 9 until 3. This month its on 12/21. If you are able, please make an appointment here and give the gift of life for the holidays. It will make a world of difference to someone... Thanks.

The Youth Center Tree Lot Raffle

This year The Youth Center is holding a Christmas Tree Lot Holiday Raffle to support local kids now through December 17, 2022. The raffle is for the Bucket of items listed below which are worth at least $10,000.
