Hi
WOW!
Thanks so much for everyone that came out to our shredding event yesterday. After more than 160 vehicles came through., we actually filled the
truck!
The only downside is that it was filled by about 11 and there were at least 30 folks that we had to turn away by the time we left at 11:30. We do apologize to those that we could not accommodate. We will see what our options are for our next event, and make adjustments. Being there early is still going
to be your best bet.
It's a good challenge to have. It says that there is a need in our community for shredding and we will continue to work to provide this service to our community. Our next event is on
Saturday, April 29th. We will start at 8:00 and will be there until the truck is full or noon. Thanks again to everyone for making this event so successful.
Housing Element Changes Impacting Rossmoor
There are a number of mandatory Housing Element changes that are in process in Los Alamitos, Seal Beach, and the County that will have a direct impact on the areas in and around
Rossmoor.
We are creating a clearinghouse of information to
help you understand what is happening and why. It's important for Rossmoor residents to be aware of these changes and relevant factors to better enable the community to influence a positive outcome for Rossmoor when projects are proposed. A tip if the hat to Rossmoor's own Ally Hatakeyama who imagined the Youth Leadership Council and is the current president.
