Hi
We should be seeing temps in the 70s now through next weekend. A pretty awesome week weather wise. Still, your yard is wet from the rain over the past few weeks. We suggest that you put your sprinklers on "rain delay" for the next couple of weeks.
Or just turn your system off. Save some water and money. Turn off your sprinklers.
It's Sweeper Week!
A word about street sweeping. Yes, this Monday (ODD addresses) and Tuesday
(EVEN addresses) will be swept. Yes, it's a bit of a pain to move your vehicles and waste carts from the street. Yes, you may have to plan a bit. It's "inconvenient" at times to move things around, walk a few houses down the street to get back home. Or to remember to put your waste arts on the parkway.
So why do it? Well, there's not a compelling reason. Just look at how many folks don't do it. Sure soon, you
could get a parking ticket and have to pay something close to $50 for not moving your vehicle. And event that isn't a big deal for many people here in Rossmoor. And still, we ask you to please keep the curbs clear.
Why? Because it helps our beaches stay safe for us and everyone else that swims/surfs/recreates in Seal Beach and
beyond.
Why? Because it helps keep the dirt, leaves, trash and other items our of our storm channels so they can flow and take storm water out of our
community.
Why? Because it's the right thing to do, and we've reminded you.
At some point, our environment has to matter. At some point it is up to you and me to act like our environment matters. Every little thing we do
helps a little.
What you do think and say matters. Thanks.
Housing Element Changes Impacting Rossmoor
There are a number of mandatory Housing Element changes that are in process in Los Alamitos, Seal Beach, and the County that will have a
direct impact on the areas in and around Rossmoor.
We are creating a clearinghouse of information to help you understand what is happening and why. It's important for Rossmoor residents to be aware of these changes and relevant factors
to better enable the community to influence a positive outcome for Rossmoor when projects are proposed. Have questions or want to know more? Check out our page and post any questions there.
