Hi We should have some sun and mild temperatures with highs in the upper 60's and lows in the lower 50's. Nice time to get that yard work and those other outside tasks done while it's still cooler. Plant a new tree in your yard! It is Earth month
after all! Farmers Market Tomorrow Join us at this week's Rossmoor Certified Farmers Market - Rush Park from 4:00 to 7:00. There's all sorts of food and fresh produce at the market. PLUS there are
a bunch of great specialty items each week. CBD products (at lower than most store prices), woodwork projects (branded with your favorite team), decorations, and the list goes on. Come out, take a quick spin through the market, pick up dinner and see what surprises you can find. Seal Beach Car Show Now that Easter Egg Hunts are behind us, here's what's next (folks just want to have fun). The Seal Beach Chamber of Commerce Annual Car Show is April 29th along Main Street in Seal Beach. This year's show boasts over 600 entries. Join us in strolling the streets of our beautiful
neighboring beachside community.

Did you see this? Take the Train! Many in our community have found this gem of a way to travel to points south. Catch the bus to Anaheim OCTA transit hub and transfer onto Metro. We've missed our
Metrolink trains! 30% discount if booked by April 21st, and free travel on April 22nd, to celebrate Earth Day. Can't drive it that cheaply. Grab a book, a camera, and/or a friend to visit with - what a fun adventure! Btw, both OCTA and Metro allow you to bring your bikes on board, no additional charge, for traveling around the cities once you arrive at your destination. More Info here

We love our pets, and OC water, so let’s care for them in ways that keep our creeks, rivers, and ocean healthy. To help our waterways thrive, keep the following tips in mind when caring
for your pet.
1) Bathe pets indoors or have them professionally groomed. 2) Pick up all dog waste and properly dispose of it in a closed
bin. 3) Properly dispose of unused flea control products like shampoo, sprays, or collars. Learn more pet care tips here.

Why not Start Your Garden
Now? |
It’s easy to learn about selecting the best vegetable or piece of fruit from the store for mealtime preparations. Growing your own yard edibles (yes, fruits and vegetables) have a learning curve too, but it’s not as hard as it looks. Why not start a garden now? Start small with one or two different plants and start to learn the tricks to creating yard-to-table menu items. Personally, tomato plants are hardy and can survive (and even thrive) despite a lot of novice purple-thumb gardener’s inconsistencies. You will be surprised at how different
homegrown food can taste, and how easy it can be – with a bit of help from gardeners who know what they are doing. Find out more here
