It must be spring as our weather pattern is pretty much the same , upper 60s for a few days, then a spike in temps to mid and upper 70s and then return to the upper 60s. It' s a nice pattern actually. This week the warmer days will be Thursday (great timing for
our Rossmoor Farmers Market at Rush Park - more on that next time) and Friday where it looks like we could hit the low 80s for the first time in a while. A pretty nice week. Hope to see you out and about on the streets of Rossmoor or at the Market on Thursday afternoon.
Remember School is back in session on Monday...Be alert, drive
safe.
Sweepers This Week
It's the third week of April (can you believe it??) and that means that our
sweeping company will be here to clean things up a bit. Please help them help us keep out beaches and ocean clear by removing your vehicles and waste carts from the street ODD addresses on Monday and EVEN addresses on Tuesday.
Seal Beach Car Show
After you drop off those pesky documents that need to be
shredded at our April Get Shredded event (Rush Park, 8:00-noon or when the truck is full), you can enjoy a terrific car show on Main Street in Seal Beach. The Seal Beach Chamber of Commerce Annual Car Show is April 29th along Main Street in Seal Beach. This year's show boasts over 600 entries.
Join us in strolling the streets of our beautiful
neighboring beachside community.

Why not Start Your Garden
Now?
It’s easy to learn about selecting the best vegetable or piece of fruit from the store for mealtime preparations. Growing your own yard edibles (yes, fruits and vegetables) have a learning curve too, but it’s not as hard as it looks.
Why not start a garden now?
Start small with one or two different plants and start to learn the tricks to creating yard-to-table menu items. Personally, tomato plants are hardy and can survive (and even thrive) despite a lot of novice purple-thumb gardener’s inconsistencies.
You will be surprised at how different
homegrown food can taste, and how easy it can be – with a bit of help from gardeners who know what they are doing. Find out more here
