Hi, Â Our temps are going to be upper 70s and low 80s for the next week or so. Pretty much, just like the past week. It's a
beautiful time to take a walk and enjoy Rossmoor.  On Thursday, you can stroll on over to the Rossmoor Certified Farmers Market at Rush Park and enjoy some great food and produce. The Mingle at the Market is a great way to relax and visit with your neighbors. See you there!

We're Not an HOA, We're an RHA! What's the
difference?  An HOA is distinctly different from us -- We are a non-profit community association, established to support the community and our members as a whole. The main difference: an HOA, is an organization tasked with
governing the affairs of a real estate development owned by multiple parties, such as a condominium or townhouse complex. HOAs are responsible for tasks such as ensuring building/facility maintenance, keeping common areas safe and beautified, deciding on when to pursue larger renovation projects, and drafting/enforcing the building’s bylaws. The RHA however, is a community
group formed by our first residents in 1957 to improve the quality of our lives and work to improve property values. Â Community groups, like the RHA, include anyone in the community with an interest in the value of the community's real estate and people, including individuals who aren't homeowners. OurRossmoor's community group, the RHA, came into being years before the concept of an HOA being a governing body that by deed requires monthly payment by property owners and received governing powers over
shared ownership properties.

Final CSD Budget Available To Public Tomorrow
|
|
Public Notice for our CSD's Annual Budget Hearings was posted this past Wednesday - it's not always easy to find - so here it is. The Draft of the Final Proposed
Budget won't be available until July 6th, and we will make sure it is posted on the Our Rossmoor site, as well. In the meantime, the preliminary budget, gives a approximation of the money Note: 2023-2024 proposed budget starts on page 33 of the document. Â The July 11th CSD Board meeting is your final chance to ask questions or make suggestions about how our money is spent and managed for providing
parks and facilities services in Rossmoor. Considering every household contributes on average $500 per year towards their budget -- we think it's a big deal. Â Also a reminder: Our CSD voted to discontinue the use of ZOOM for interactive participation. As always, their meeting is available for viewing on YouTube, but if
you want to participate, plan on going to the Rush Park Auditorium at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11th. Â
