It looks like our fall weather is starting to take hold. We should be in the mid to upper 70s for the next week. Don't put your shorts and flip flops away quite yet though. Mother Nature may
have another hot streak left in her this year. Afterall it is SoCal, right?
Have a terrific weekend, help a school on Saturday (see blow), and we will be back to remind you about street sweeping on Sunday (regular Monday ODD, Tuesday EVEN sweeping - you know the drill).

Orange County Public Works Traffic Engineer Wei Zhu visited Rossmoor this past Tuesday to give our community an update on her department's Rossmoor Traffic study, and some possible options for the Montecito corridor here in Rossmoor. There will be more about this in the coming weeks and months, but this is a great opportunity to see what happened if you were not one of the 120+ people were were able to attend the event.

Red Cross Blood Drives...
We always like to put your generosity into perspective. This month completes 36 months since the
RHA and the Red Cross initiated our monthly Blood Drives, co-sponsored with our CSD, in the Rush Auditorium.
Over the last 35 months in Rossmoor 1,104 of our community #OurRossmoor
donors have contributed 1010 units of blood. According to Red Cross statistics, that means up to 3030 people have been helped. That is significant - and all thanks to you, for giving your time and blood!
There are still appointments available for Wednesday, September 20th, across most time slots. Blood is particularly in short supply, nationwide,
and your participation helps immensely.
By taking action, we can help reduce the number of these blood suckers. It all starts with us. Make your appointment
