Hi , The Christmas week weather looks very nice with cool evenings and daytime highs in the upper 60s. The RHA wishes all those
that celebrate Christmas a very merry one and and wonderful week ahead. Note that with the Christmas Holiday on Monday, waste collection will be delayed one day for everyone in Rossmoor this week and remember school is out for the next two weeks, so there will be more kids out and about during the day. Be alert and drive safe. Enjoy your holidays!

Lights Bike Tours Very Popular |
Nia Hartman and Bike Rossmoor guided the 7th Annual Rossmoor Lights Bike Tour on Friday & Saturday nights, and both rides were popular. Friday night had more than 60 riders tour the neighborhood lights as the threat of rain did not materialize. Saturday night was nearly tripled the count with over 175 riders and
40+ skaters joining in the tour. There was time for photos with Santa for kids and parents alike. Shown here with Santa are Bike Rossmoor organizer, top Elf, and RHA Director Nia Hartman and RHA Director Jody Roubanis. The weather was perfect for the ride and the Rossmoor lights are amazing. On the tour, neighbors waived
from their yards and the sounds of "Merry Christmas" and "Happy Holidays" could be heard blocks away. Cars on the road were kind, pulling over or stopping and waiting for the tour to pass them. Large groups of riders stopped at various homes to enjoy the the lights while other riders continued on. The tour took about 90 minutes at a very leisurely pace. More photos here The eight-mile all-Rossmoor tour is a lot of fun and you can get your copy of the Bike Lights Map
here if you want to tour the lights on your own while they are still glowing.

Did you get a real tree this year? Remove your Christmas tree immediately after the holiday even if you think it is not dry. Keeping a dry tree
is like inviting a fire into your home.
