Exercise is Important For Dogs |
OurRossmoor's Urban Forest is more than just pretty landscape. Get out into nature by playing in our parks and walking the sidewalks alongside our streets. It does a body good....pets and people. As their aging brains shrink, older dogs can suffer the same memory and thinking problems as many older
humans do. But dogs are just like humans in another way -- playtime and social activities can help preserve their brain function, a new study finds.

Food Network Star Jet Tila - In Person

OC's Clifton C Miller Community Center is not that far from us - Tustin. OC Public Libraries is hosting Jet Tila - yes, Jet Tila of Food Channel fame! What better way
to celebrate mom than treating her to an afternoon of how to make delicious Thai dishes, from an internationally acclaimed chef? For free. Yeah
we know, take mom out to learn how to cook great Thai for us. We thought you would question that. How about taking notes and learn how to prepare the dishes yourselves? Then treat mom to be a guest at your mealtime get-together every week. Now that's a win. Mother's Day gifts of being treated to your cooking, all the time. Plus, social time is healthy time

Hey #OurRossmoor high school students. This is worth checking out and we encourage you to apply if interested. The teen council mirrors the format of the OCTA Citizens Advisory Council (CAC), and it is a great way to learn about our county's transit, transportation, and government. processes. OurRossmoor's Community Engagement Coordinator, Mary Ann Remnet, is a First District appointee to the OCTA CAC, so if you want first-hand info on what the committee does and how it works. DM us and we'll get you connected with each other for a convo or two. Or just go for it --- fill out an application. Applications will be accepted thru the end of May and the Teen meetings will start (every other month) in August.
Our Rossmoor. A great place to live since 1957
