Keep Rossmoor Safe - Slow your roll to 25 MPH
Hi
Today felt pretty hot, in comparison to the past week or so. It looks like the low 80s is where we will settle in for the week, with Wednesday being the warmest mid-80s day. Much nicer here by the coast than inland, unless you like triple digits. Then, head inland. 😀 It's plenty warm and hot there!
We are sending our support and prayers to Jo Shade and her family as they mourn the loss of Jo's father.
If you are so inclined, please send your
positive thoughts and energy to Jo and her family during this difficult time.
Drowning Happens in Seconds
Literally. Seconds. Enjoy a dip in the pool during this hot weather. And be extra alert. Lives could depend on you.
The free live concerts continue in both Los Al (Thursdays) and Seal Beach (Wednesdays), our weekly Rossmoor Certified Famers Market on Thursday and of course the Rossmoor Family Festival Saturday August 10th. Check out the line ups.
Orville R. Lewis Park in the Rossmoor Highlands (3662 Kempton) will be hosting Circa '77 starting at 6:30 on Thursday. Bring your blankets and picnic. with the Beach Boys tribute band Woodie & the Longboards. Don't miss on this family fun evening
under the glowing moon... things kick off at 6:30
Safe Bike Riding in Rossmoor?
Yes, that's right. On our streets in Rossmoor! Out taking in the sunshine and fresh air, on this beautiful Sunday, the bike riders checked every box above and did everything right! (Except riding on the sidewalks - they were old enough to be safe on the roadway.) Way to go
Rossmoor!
We are humbled, grateful, and appreciative every month.
Rossmoor is a community of givers. Each and every one of us. And we couldn't be more proud of belonging, as part of the magic.
Once again, our Rossmoor Red Cross Blood
Drive delivers. Thank you to all the donors and volunteers that make it happen - especially the 4 first time donors! WOW!
Our community has a number of great ways for you to engage with your neighbors in hobbies and activities. While these are not RHA groups, they are great resources for you and your family members. Check them out.
