We want to thank whoever of y’all for taking the initiative to “see something, say something” and contacted Rossmoor’s Community Service District via the Street Sweeping Observation
Link about their streets being missed by the sweepers this past Monday (10/7/2024) which was the first Monday of the month.
This announcement was sent out yesterday (10/8) morning by the Rossmoor CSD (who manages the street sweeping contract) announcing another anomaly to street sweeping. As always, we will do our best to remind everyone, so pass on this info
to your neighbors who might not be in our FB group or online at all.
First and foremost, swept streets keep toxins out of our storm channels, and neighborly, nobody likes tickets for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Secondly, our tax dollars go to pay for the sweeping each month. Why waste our money by blocking the sweeper’s
path with our vehicles? Come’on Rossmoor, we’ve got this (and a whole “other side” of the street to park on)
Hopefully, the Rossmoor CSD has worked out their scheduling conflicts with SCA (our sweeping company), and we can get back to normal schedules, that are less confusing (and more enforceable for those who need a gentle nudge).
