July 18th @ Dusk Rush Park
Happy Friday! The weather is beautiful. You have to get outside and enjoy it! We should see temps in the high 70s and low 80s for the next week. It's almost always good weather here but this is near
perfect. And, this weekend's Shakespeare performances from Shakespeare By The Sea at Rush Park. Busy weekend coming! Let's get into it.
Shakespeare By The Sea This Weekend!
Coming to Rush Park THIS WEEKEND, Shakespeare By The Sea presents Julius Caesar and As You Like It. Both the plays begin at 7:00 p.m. and there is no admission charge to enjoy these performances. Family friendly and skillfully presented,
these plays are amazing and are modeled after the live Shakespeare events in New York's Central Park.
Grab a chair and maybe a picnic dinner or just a dessert and allow yourself to be transported to another time and place - though the storylines are still applicable to today. Shakespeare By The Sea is a professional acting Troupe that believes these plays should be available for everyone to enjoy. They do accept contributions to help offset the performance costs. You can find out more here on their
website
On Friday, June 27th, our First District Supervisor Janet Nguyen will be at Rush Park with her mobile office hours from 10:00 to noon. Janet will be available in the East Room to discuss any of the services the county provides for Rossmoor and answer any questions you might have about the county, its current budget
process or anything else Rossmoor related. Or if you just want to stop by to just say HI and meet our Supervisor, this is a great opportunity to do so. Hope to see you this Friday morning!
Madison Keck is the May 2025 SOTM for RWC
From bucket-filler at Rossmoor Elementary to show-stopper on the Grand Ole Opry stage, Madison Keck has made the most of every step in her school journey. A four-year member of Los Al’s nationally ranked Show Choir, Madison found more than just a
stage—she found a second family. The long rehearsals, early call times, and electric performances (especially in Nashville) taught her the power of passion, teamwork, and showing up even when you’d rather be sleeping in. Outside the spotlight, Madison served in ASB for two years, helping lead student government and give back to her school community in meaningful
ways. The Rossmoor Woman’s Club is proud to recognize Madison’s energy, leadership, and commitment to making every experience count—with or without a spotlight. More from Madison here
