As promised, this week it's sweeping on Monday only (ODD addresses). It's just how the dates fall this month with Monday being the first Monday of the month. So please move your vehicles and waste carts from the street tomorrow. Thanks!

Weather wise, we have a couple of hot days coming before the temps settle back to the low 80s for next weekend. 

That will be great or our July Rossmoor Family Festival. More on that below. Remember too at the festival, OC Public Works will have a booth with information on the County's unincorporated Local Road Safety Plan. Please stop by and ask your questions and "pin" the places that you think are unsafe. This is the time to get your opinion out there and the County is listening.

Rossmoor Family Festival - Saturday!

Our July Rossmoor Family Festival is set for Saturday, July 12th from 3:00 to 8:00 come play at the kids carnival, listen to live entertainment, shop with some local vendors, and try some great food from a host of yummy food trucks.

This month features the always popular The Emperors starting shortly after 6:00 p.m.  Bring your beach chair or blanket and some snacks or a picnic and enjoy the evening at the delightful Rush Park

Safer Streets Start With Us - Saturday, July 12th

If you've ever worried about cars speeding down our streets or had a close call with an ebike, you're not alone—and now there's a real opportunity to do something about it.

On Saturday, July 12th from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the  Rossmoor Family Festival, Orange County Public Works (OCPW) will have important information on the County’s new Local Road Safety Program—a countywide effort focused on making local roads safer for everyone, including here in Rossmoor.

Stop by and join the conversation, talk with the team, get informed and ask your questions about how this plan specifically can improve Rossmoor's road safety. There maps of the area where you can help the county pinpoint and identify any safety issues within Rossmoor.

Shredding & Non-Perrishable Food Collection

Our quarterly Get Shredded events have just gotten better for our community. The RHA has partnered with We Care to collect non-perishable food for those local families that need it. 

Any non-perishable food and especially canned proteins (think canned tuna, chicken, salmon & chili) are in high demand by the the local families that We Care serves. This is a great opportunity to drop off your documents to be shredded and a few cans or other non-perishable food items at the same time. And, if you don't have any shredding, you can still drop off food.

Kids Night Out - Friday Night 7/18

The Youth Center continues their terrific Kids Night Out Party every month during the summer. That's right the 3rd Friday of every month kids get a night our while their parents (and grandparents)  can do what they want from 6 until 10:30.

Give your kids a break and let them hang out with other area kids on Friday, July 18th. Make your reservations here.

Farmers Market on Thursdays from 4:00-7:00

Come on out to the Rossmoor Farmers Market from 4 to 7 this Thursday. You'll find all sorts of treasures in the way of food and crafts. Plus the always popular fresh produce. Don't miss out!
