It looks like we have an 80 degree weekend followed by a mid 70s week before we drop back into the upper 60s next weekend. It feels like spring is trying to take over winter early. It will be interesting to see what the next couple of months bring our way weather-wise. Sweeping Monday &
Tuesday Street Sweeping will take place on Monday and Tuesday next week. Yes, Monday is Martin Luther King Day, and YES, the sweepers are sweeping on Monday. Please be sure to clear the path for them so they can continue to clean up the leaves and debris from our streets. Thanks for your help! The
annual Our Rossmoor magazine will be in homes this week. The magazine recaps 2025 and celebrates what's ahead for Rossmoor in 2026.The good news is we were able to include photos from this year's Rossmoor Winter Festival and Christmas Lights Celebration. Look for it in your mail box this week

RWC's Student of the Month for November
A proud Los Al Griffin (following his time as a Hopkinson Husky and Oak Lion), Reid Meider is a senior who has successfully maintained straight A’s despite a highly rigorous academic and extracurricular workload. He has been a committed member of the boys basketball program throughout high school, now
playing on the Varsity team. His passion for Japanese, his world language, allowed him to travel to Japan last summer for a valuable homestay experience. Additionally, he was selected to participate in the Pepperdine Youth Citizenship Seminar, which offered him a preview of college life. In his spare time, Reid enjoys playing video games
with friends and going to Korean BBQ, as well as exploring new restaurants and traveling with his family. Reid plans to study Biomedical Engineering or Bioengineering, with the goal of attending the University of California, Berkeley or another UC campus. When you see Reid around, congratulate him on his $1,000 award from the Rossmoor Woman’s Club More here...
