Community Calendar Rossmoor CSD Board Meeting: Tuesday, February 10th 7:00 pm Rush Park RHA Board Meeting: Tuesday, February 17th, 7:00 p.m. - On Zoom Rossmoor Red Cross Blood Drive, Wednesday, February 18th, 9:00-3:00, Rush Park Rossmoor's Get Shredded & Food Drive, Saturday, April 25th
8:00 - Noon, Lee School
Hope you've had a great weekend so far. This upcoming week's high temps look like a roller coaster. We were in the 80s yesterday and in the mid 70s today. Then it looks like upper 60s tomorrow, and back to the mid 80s by Wednesday before settling back into the mid-70s for next weekend. It's a bit crazy and
still very nice SoCal weather (still no ice or snow!!). Maybe it's time to start that yardwork project you've been waiting to get into? In any case, enjoy it. Sweeping on Monday & Tuesday! It's the first week of the month so we will have our sweepers back in Rossmoor on Monday and Tuesday. Please plan to move your vehicles off the ODD
sides on Monday and off the EVEN sides on Tuesday. There's still a lot of tree droppings and dirt for the sweepers to clean up for us. Also, please do not rake and pile up the leaves. The piles tend to clog the sweepers. These are not vacuum truck like they have back east. Thanks!

New Stop Signs To Increase Safety & Slow Traffic UPDATE
OC Public Works has installed at least three new stop signs in northern Rossmoor to increase safety and (hopefully) slow traffic. The intersections of Donnie Ann and Donnis (stop for Donnis travelers), Loch Lomond and
Chesney (stop for Loch Lomond travelers) and Kensington and Chesney (stop for Chesney travelers) received the new stop signs. Please continue to drive safely and use caution on the streets of Rossmoor. It's good for everyone.
Got Junk? Free Bulky Item Pick-Ups
Just a Rossmoor reminder that included with your regular waste collection fees, residents can request TWO bulky item pick ups each calendar year. Each of these pickups can contain up to FOUR items. So there is no need to drag your nasty looking couch or old box springs out behind a local store’s dumpster or fill up a neighbor’s construction bin. Just contact CR&R and request a "Bulky Item Pickup". (hint: click the bulky item pick up link on the lower right of the page) At no additional charge. What could be easier? Additionally, the RCSD will host a bulky item pick up on the morning of Saturday, July 25th. This free bulky item event is in addition to your two pickups at your home. More here...
‘Marty Supreme’: A Masterpiece UnveiledWho would have thought that a movie about table tennis would be this fascinating? Griffin Gazette Staff
Writers Reese Neiger and Sophia Nash share their surprise take on Marty Supreme.
For many individuals, table tennis is a game well-known in settings like basements and sports bars. Still, in the movie “Marty Supreme,” table tennis is revealed as a competitive and aggressive sport centered in stadiums across multiple continents. This movie had countless fans on the edge of their seats, wondering what was next.
The extent of tension and drama portrayed allowed for no time for bathroom breaks or looking away. From containing action to romance, this movie had it all. “There were very shocking moments, and the fast-paced plot and editing kept you on the edge of your seat,” said Naomi Dixon, a Los Alamitos High School sophomore. After being released in theaters on Christmas Day, “Marty Supreme” has been out for a month and has made almost $90 million at the box
office, grossing its original budget by over $15 million. The movie has not only done well at the box office but has also been highly praised by audiences. Currently, the film has been scored 93% on Rotten Tomatoes, making it the third-highest rated movie Timothée Chalamet has done. During the movie, fans are subconsciously cheering on the complex character, Marty
Mauser (Timothee Chalamet), even though he isn’t depicted as a good person. If some people want to claim he was a con man and a bad person, they wouldn’t be completely wrong. But Mauser is a young 23-year-old with a talent; you can’t entirely blame him for having passion and ambition. Throughout the movie, the audience is obliged to want the same things that Marty wants for himself. Sadly, Marty’s pride
and desperation contribute to his poor decision-making skills. This led to the majority of the movie being the collateral damage from Marty’s actions. Although it’s sad for the characters, it’s extremely Click for the rest of the
