Emergency Prep Meeting Canceled
Due to a family emergency, tonight's Emergency Prep
Community meeting has been canceled. Our next meeting will be Thursday November 19th at 7:00 p.m.
Street Sweeping On Monday
Just a quick reminder that this Monday (October 19th) is sweeper day. To avoid a potential ticket, please make sure your vehicles are not parked on Rossmoor
streets.
Pets On the Loose
There seems to have been a few more dogs and cats who have slipped away from home in the past few weeks. Our terrific Rossmoor Pet Management Team has been actively reuniting pets with their families. If
you'd like to know more or help out, let Emily know here and she'll be happy to add you to her alert list.

15th Annual Taste For Los Al
As most of you know the 15th Annual Taste For Los Al is on Saturday October 17th in the parking lot behind Sprouts in the Shops at Rossmoor. Get your tickets from any of the Los
Al Booster groups or you can order tickets online after October 2. Proceeds benefit the programs and facilities at Los Al High School. Additional details can be found on the Taste For Los Al website.

The Ducks & Make-A-Wish Deliver! |
It was the Anaheim Ducks 2015 home opener and it would be a night to remember for Kai Quinonez as well.
Kai is a huge Ducks fan and his favorite player is defenseman Hampus Lindholm.
So Make-A-Wish and the Ducks got together to made Kai’s wishes come true.

Halloween Pet Costume Contest! |
That's right!
Emily Knell, the
Rossmoor Pet Management Team chair, is sponsoring a Halloween Pet Photo Contest.
If your pet likes to wear costumes, or you can get him or her to wear one long enough to snap a photo or two, you can enter to win one of the three cool prizes and have your pet's photo
displayed on the RHA website.
Go have some fun with this and your pet!

Rossmoor resident Bernie Beskind coordinates the weekly Rossmoor Walk & Talk meeting at Rush Park on Tuesday mornings at 10:30. That is unless it's raining, then there's no
walk.
The program is simple enough, whoever attends forms groups of 2-4 people and walk around Rush Park and they talk. How long they walk, how fast they walk, and what they talk about is up to them. If you need a topic to talk about, Bernie will be happy to help you out.
It's a real Win-Win
Bernie's idea creates an informal way to meet your neighbors and get some exercise at the same time. It could save or at least extend your life, plus you'll get to meet some really great people. And that is a huge win-win.

us! The Rossmoor Walk & Talk is open to all ages. The more the merrier - Invite your friends and please spread the word. Rossmoor Walk & Talk meets are held every Tuesday at 10:30 AM at Rush
Park.
