Hey there
It's Christmas week and with it comes family gatherings, office parties, and the hustle & bustle of the holidays. Good times for sure. Do be smart and allow yourself a bit more time to get to places (especially near the major shopping destinations) and if you do drink, make sure you have a designated driver to get you home
safely. Sweeper Monday
Monday is sweeper day here in Rossmoor. Please remember to move your vehicles off Rossmoor streets. Additionally, if Monday is your trash pick-up day, please put your cans curbside but not in the street. Cans in the gutters prevent the sweepers from cleaning them just
the same as vehicles do.
Coyotes are Out & About Just a reminder to watch your pets and stay alert as there have been a number of confirmed coyote sightings in the past couple of days in Rossmoor. The coyote gates in the drainage ditches get opened when rain is
predicted allowing much freer access to the coyotes, but even when they are closed, the risk is not eliminate.
Upcoming Dates to Note We have a number of events
coming up that you will want to put on your calendar. Check them out: - Sweeper Monday - Monday 12/21
- RCSD Board Meeting - Tuesday 1/12, 7:00 p.m. Rush Park Auditorium
- RHA Board Meeting - Tuesday 1/19, 7:00 p.m. Rossmoor Park Room
- Rossmoor Recycles - Saturday 1/30, 8:00 a.m. to Noon - Rush Park

Rossmoor WinterFest 2015 was a smashing success with more than 500 neighbors attending on a brisk evening at Rush Park. Live reindeer, Santa, singing, food, crafts and fun were all part of the evening. The lighting of the Christmas Tree was a real ahh! moment. Many thinks to the RCSD staff and the many volunteers who pulled this wonderful
event together for Rossmoor.

Rossmoor resident Bernie Beskind coordinates the weekly Rossmoor Walk & Talk meeting at Rush Park on Tuesday mornings at 10:30.
That is unless it's raining, then there's no walk.
The program is simple enough, whoever attends forms groups of 2-4 people and walk around Rush Park and they talk. How long they walk, how fast they walk, and what they talk about is up to them. If you need a topic to talk about, Bernie will be happy to help you out. It's a real Win-Win Bernie's idea creates an informal way to meet your neighbors and get some exercise at the same time. It could save or at least extend your life, plus you'll get to meet some really great people. And that is a huge win-win. Come join us! The Rossmoor Walk & Talk is open to all ages. The more the merrier - Invite your friends and please spread the word. Rossmoor Walk & Talk meets are held every Tuesday at 10:30 AM at Rush Park. If you have questions, please email Bernie (BernieB_90720@yahoo.com), or come see him on Tuesdays at 10:30 at Rush Park. Bernie will be the energetic guy with glasses, short hair, long in years and walking slowly.
