Looks like we will have a beautiful weekend weather-wise with temperatures in the mid 70's and mostly sunny skies. Near ideal weather for the Long Beach Grand Prix as well. Just know that Long Beach streets near the beach will be blocked and or very busy if you plan to head that way.

 

 

Due to unreliable labor and falling receipts, the Rossmoor Recycles program is scaling back and will now only accept clean newspapers. 

 

This change means you can take your cardboard, recyclable plastic, glass, and cans to the CSU, Long Beach recycling center. You can find details on their program and hours of operation here on their website.

 

Just in time for all those tax records you can now shred, The File Depot will be at our April Rossmoor Recycles event to take care of all your shredding needs.

 

The OCSD will also be at Rush Park from 10:00 am to Noon to accept any prescription drugs that you would like to turn in for disposal. This is a free no questions asked turn in and is a super easy way clean out those old and unneeded drugs. More details here

 

And once again Sweeper Monday is here. That's right Monday March 18th the sweepers will be in Rossmoor cleaning up our streets. Please move your vehicles out of the street and if Monday is your trash collection day, please place your cans on the curb. Thanks!
