It looks like we have some crazy weather coming this week. On Sunday we should heat up and have some Santa Ana winds on continuing into Monday. The inland areas of the county are under a Red Flag fire watch as temperatures are
expected to be in the upper 80s and low 90s with low humidity (<15% in most areas). By mid-week there is some rain forecast with temperatures back into the 60s.
Sweeper Monday
With the leaves falling it's even more important to move your vehicles and trash cans out of the street on Monday so the sweepers can clean things up. Thanks for your help in keeping Rossmoor streets clean.
Rossmoor Winter Festival, Friday 12/13
In case you didn’t hear, the beloved annual Rossmoor Winter Festival will be at Rush Park on Friday 12/13. The Snowonderful event opens at 6:00 p.m., with the tree lighting at 7:00. There will be LAUSD choirs singing, free photos with Santa, fun arts and crafts, bounce houses, pony rides, and petting zoo. And
what would the Festival be without snow. Lots of snow to play in!
The Holiday Lights Trolley will once again tour the neighborhood's Christmas Light displays and there will be local vendors with unique holiday gifts and crafts for sale.
And there's the food trucks. Check out this year's lineup of deliciousness: Cousins Maine Lobster, Vivace Pizza, Belly Bombz, and Java on the Go.
It promises to be a delightful evening for the whole family. Plan to join us starting right about 6:00 p.m. and spend and hour or three getting into the season.
