Today (Thursday, 10/17) at 10:17 AM is our annual Great Shake Out event.
It’s a reminder to drop, cover and hold on during an earthquake and to think about getting yourself and family prepared for when the earth shakes here in SoCal.
It’s not an if, it’s a when and where for all of us.
Seriously, take a few minutes and review your earthquake survival plan (do you have 5-7 days of water, food, and medicine for everyone in your family – including your pets?). Sign up for the Great Shake Out here and then PROTECT YOURSELF and SPREAD THE WORD.

The T-Shirt Rodeo comes to town!
It's time for the RHA to rotate out the old t-shirt designs and inventory to make room for the new.
The long-sleeve dark gray tee and the 3/4-sleeve green baseball tee you've seen around town are both available in all sizes, adults and kids, and make great holiday gifts. Get one for you, one for grandma, and one for a niece or nephew while you're at it. At only $5 per shirt, they are a holiday steal!
Come by the Rodeo this Sunday, 10/20, from 8am - 1pm to get your hands on your own Rossmoor merchandise at 2992 Silverwood Drive.

- Street Sweeping - Monday October 21st, please remove your vehicles and trash cans from the streets of Rossmoor. Thanks!
- RCSD Board Meeting - Tuesday 11/12 - 7:00 p.m. Rush Park Aud.
- RHA Board Meeting - Tuesday 11/19 - 7:00 p.m. Rossmoor Park
And of course, the weekly Rossmoor Walk &Talk which has now expanded to Monday, Wednesday,Thursday and Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. with Tuesday mornings remaining at the 10:30 a.m. start time. We meet near the playground at Rush Park when it's not raining.

Yes, it is that time of year again!
The School Ghoul 5K run/walk, 1 miler and Kid’s Festival of Races supports the Los Alamitos Unified School District by raising awareness for the importance of physical fitness and enrichment programs for local schools. This fun community event has grown in size and success and 2019 marks it's 8th year here in Rossmoor.
The event includes a Ghoul Zone and pumpkin patch and a pancake breakfast along with the 5K run/walk, 1 Miler run, and the Kids Festival of Races.
It's a great morning event the whole family can enjoy.
