The judges have spoken and the awards have been announced.
Here are the award winners, honorable and mentions, and the most important HotSpots map along with the photos from this year's Rossmoor Christmas Lights Celebration!.
And Bike Rossmoor will be sponsoring the 4th Annual Bike Lights Tour on Saturday December 21st. You can get all the details here on Nextdoor but here is a summary
from Bike Rossmoor:
Come join 200 or more of your neighbors riding bikes on a route through Rossmoor to visit some amazingly lit homes. So many residents create fabulous holiday displays and a great way to see them is by bike. We will have a designated route that we will all follow together for night time safety. The pace will be very slow so this is perfect for the
whole family. Be sure to dress warmly and jingly. You can decorate your bikes before you arrive. We will have a few decorations at the park.
START AT RUSH PARK:
- 4:30pm to 5:30pm - Bike Decorating and Bike Safety Checks
- 5:30pm - We will have a few announcements then mount up and head out
- 7:30pm - 8:00pm - Socializing and Cleanup
Please ride your bikes to the park if you can since there will not be enough parking. All the riders will be taking up a big part of the parking lot before we head out.
We will have some local bike shop mechanics to help with pumping up tires, adjusting breaks, doing safety checks, and adjusting seat heights. Give them a big thank you for sharing their evening with us.
Please register for this event in two places.
Second, Register here and sign a waiver.
(This event doesn't require waivers for our insurance but it is encouraged.
We want to test out this system fully so when we do have an event that
needs waivers we will be sure it works. Thanks for you help.)
That should take care of the questions about the Lights Bike Tour that has become so popular here in Rossmoor and we are so glad and appreciative Bike Rossmoor has been able to become the sponsor and organizer for the event.
Please remember to NOT drive the route before 7:30 p.m on Saturday December 21st so the Lights Bike Tour can safely see the lights.
Have safe and fun filled holiday season!
