The RHA is seeking candidates for our board of directors, which will be holding its regular May election soon. Over the last 60 years, our organization has been sustained by civic minded volunteers who want to give back to the community. Please consider being one of those people who help make Rossmoor a better place by volunteering for the board or nominating a member of our community who wants to
serve.
Our bylaws require that we take nominations from the floor at our April meeting and then approve the ballot for the May election. With these
unprecedented times of social isolation, we will not be holding our regular April Board meeting at Rossmoor Park. Therefore, the nominating committee is accepting nominations for the 2020-2021 RHA Board of directors via email to nominations@ourrossmoor.com.
We currently have an open seat on our board that can be filled before the election, so please volunteer if you would like by contacting us at the above email address or our president at ralph.vartabedian@gmail.com.
The deadline for us receiving nominations is 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday April 14, 2020 which is our regular RHA Board meeting night. The board will hold a meeting by teleconference to process the nominations.
All eligible nominations will be included on the ballot. If we have more candidates that open positions on the board, ballots will be mailed out to all members according to our Bylaws.
