We should "cool down" to the upper 80's for the rest of the week. But, it looks like the Santa Ana winds will arrive on Tuesday to fan the flames of the Southern California wildfires. Please be careful, stay safe and hydrated.
November Elections
As you are no doubt aware, we have an election coming up in November. Our ballots will arrive sometime in October.

If you have not registered to vote, you still have time.
Go to the Register To Vote CA site and get registered. Who you vote for is your business.
That you vote is the important thing. And your ability to vote starts with getting registered. Please, if you are not yet registered, do it today. It's online and easy.
Meet Your Candidates Night
Before those ballots arrive, we will have our Meet the Candidates Town Hall. This year's format will be a bit different as it will be virtual and aired live on LA TV3 and streamed on social media.
We have invited the candidates for State Assembly District 72 (Diedre Nguyen and Janet Nguyen), Los Alamitos School Trustee, Area 2 candidates (Chris Forehan, Jody Roubanis, Paurvi Trivedi) and the RCSD Board of Directors candidates (Jeff Barke, Joyce Bloom, Tony DeMarco, Michael Maynard, Nathan Searles) to attend and share
with us why we should support them as our elected officials. And of course answer some questions about their plans should they be elected.
