Hi
What a wonderful weekend this is turning out to be. We had a great drive-in movie tonight at Rush Park on a giant 40 foot screen, Saturday morning we have our Rossmoor Spooky Shredding event at Rush Park and the Rossmoor Holiday Toy Drive kick-off happening from 8:00 a.m to Noon, and those who are going out for Halloween, get to walk the streets of Rossmoor. Pretty great start to our weekend!
Calling All Elves – Here We Go!
Going to start this in an incredibly positive tone – Let’s have a record-breaking number of Rossmoor Christmas Lights Celebration entries in 2020!!!
There is no better time to decorate your Rossmoor homestead for all to fully embrace and appreciate than this season. This annual Christmas Lights event, now going strong on its 14th year in Rossmoor, is more important this holiday season than ever before. While other neighborhood events have been delayed, canceled, or subdued, there’s no way that’s
happening this Christmas. This year the Celebration can be bigger than ever – AND WE NEED YOU!!!
So calling all Rossmoor Homeowners – if you’ve ever decorated your house with gift wrapping dinosaurs, snow scenes, Santa, elves, bright stars, Rudolph, snow men, snow women, singing angels, bubbles, forest animals, ginger bread characters, festive trailers, candy canes, manger scenes, lighted ropes, sights/sounds/motions and EMOTIONS, all or any of the above - we
need you!
What else are you going to do those four days over the Thanksgiving weekend?
If you’ve never decorated at all, this is the perfect year to start! Rookie-of-the-Year Award is a huge honor. If you’ve received or ready to receive one of our Recognition Awards: e.g. Winter Wonderland, Good Neighbor, Christmas Post Card, Silent Night, Childhood Enchantment, then unpack those decoration containers, buy even more extension cords, climb up those
ladders, and replace.... (read more)
Rossmoor Toy Drive - It's ON!
2020 has been a very different kind of year. We’ve faced many new challenges and have had many varying points of view expressed in many different ways. We also know that for better and worse, our lives have definitely changed.
Something that has not changed is the holidays and families in need. In fact, this year the need is even greater than ever. It's our turn to help out as we can.
This is why the Rossmoor Homeowners Association and Rossmoor Community Services District are sponsoring the Rossmoor Holiday Toy Drive to benefit The Youth Center in Los Alamitos.
The Rossmoor Holiday Toy Drive is simple. Just drop off a new, unwrapped gift to either the RCSD or Youth Center offices during business hours between November 1st and November 30th. The toys should be for ages 3 to 17
as this year the Youth Center is helping more than 100 families in need.
Rossmoor Blood Drive Scheduled for November!
With the success of our Rossmoor Red Cross Blood Drive this past Friday, we have scheduled a November drive on Tuesday November 17th, kicking off at 10:00 a.m. Our last event filled up fairly quickly, so make sure that you go reserve your space right away: OurRossmoor.com Blood Drive.
