Happy Sunday!

First up, yes, tomorrow is December 7th, the 78th anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor and the official entry of these United States into WWII. Please take a moment to reflect on that profound day, and the abrupt changes that the attack caused for thousands of American men and women across our great nation. Personally, I am thankful for their bravery, tenaciousness, and sacrifice. How about you?

Street Sweeping

Tomorrow is also the first Monday of the month. This means our street sweepers will be in Rossmoor to clean things up (and tickets will be issued). Please remove all vehicles and trash cans from Rossmoor streets.

Rossmoor Lights

Have you ever seen so many houses decked out and showing off their holiday spirit? It has been a long times since Rossmoor has seen this kind of participation. And It's AWESOME!! 

As you  likely know, we are putting together our Holiday HotSpots map for this year and it will be out next Tuesday (12/15), right after the Rossmoor Christmas Lights Celebration recognition awards are announced. Judging takes place next Saturday and Sunday.

The holidays and the joy they bring to many are almost here and some traditions must go on.

And boy did it!

The Rossmoor Tree Lighting was spectacular. Just look at our tree!

Santa was there with plenty off HO-HO-HOs but no lap sitting as Covid rules were in place. 

The Caravan was more than 40 cars long and dozens of neighbors stepped outside to enjoy the sights and sounds. OCSD, CHP, RCSD, RHA, LAHS Dance, Fallen Hero's    and many others were part of the procession.

Neighbors on the street loved the holiday wishes and joy the form the many decorated vehicles (cars, trucks, bicycles, and golf carts were all in the mix). 

It was another great Rossmoor event even with the limitations and challenges we have endured this year. We can still have joy and safe fun to celebrate the season!
