There have been a lot of conversations around the neighborhood about speeding cars and the dangers these drivers pose everyone, including our children.
While we don't like to admit it, most of the "speeding" drivers are residents of Rossmoor. Yes, our neighbors and even sometimes we might speed a little ourselves.
Two things to remember, the speed limit in Rossmoor is 25 MPH unless posted otherwise. It's hard to drive 25 these days. And still that is the state law for residential streets. Second, we all live here. We can fix this by just slowing down.
If you have a speeding problem on your street, please call the CHP - 714-892-4426 and let them know specifically where you are seeing the speeding issues and what time of day. If there are specific vehicles that frequently speed, you can give them the vehicle description as well. Location and time of day are the most critical pieces of information. The more calls the CHP receives from us, the better chance we
will see increased enforcement.
Please pay attention to your speed and slow down a bit. It's better for all of us.
Thanks!
