Blood Drive Wednesday 4/21

Make sure to sign up for our blood drive next Wednesday and then join us at Rush Park at your designated time.

52nd Aviation Unit Relocation Environmental Assessment

The Environmental Assessment (EA) for the relocation of 52nd Aviation Unit (4 Cessna Citation jets and 18 personnel) to Los Alamitos JFTB is available for public review and comment until May 3rd. The relocation will add about 200 takeoffs and landings of the medium range executive and priority cargo jet aircraft annually. Details and how to review and comment can be found here.

Get Shredded - 4/24

Our next quarterly community shredding event is on Saturday April 24th from 8:00 a.m. to Noon. Bring your documents that need shredding (like those old tax forms and checks) to Rush Park and watch them get shredded on site. If you're not quite ready to get shredded, our next event will be on July 31st. Mark your calendar now.

Call the CHP

CHP Officer Mussleman has asked us to call the Westminster CHP office if you see (or hear) speeding on your street. Please call them and share the time and location where you saw (heard) the issue. This information will help the officers who do patrol Rossmoor know where and when to look. Help them slow down the traffic in Rossmoor.

If you have family members (kids, grandkids, nieces or nephews) or know of parents who are looking for fun activities and adventures, share The Youth Center's CAMP SHARK (ages 5-12) and TEEN CAMP (ages 12-16) with them. Both programs are based here in Rossmoor are vary affordable, and filled with all sorts of science, arts & crafts, games, water days and fun... lots of fun.
