After a nice and warm weekend, it looks like we will be cooling off back to the upper 60's by mid-week and continue there through the weekend.

It's a busy week here in Rossmoor. We have the monthly RHA Community Meeting tomorrow (Tuesday) at 7:00 p.m., the Rossmoor Red Cross Blood Drive on Wednesday (10 to 4) and our quarterly Shredding Event on Saturday morning from 8:00 to noon. Details on how you can participate are below.

Sweepers on Today

Just a quick reminder that today is the 3rd Monday of the month which means the sweepers and parking enforcement will be here most of the day. Please remove your vehicles and trash cans from the street so the sweepers can do their thing. Thanks!

Get Shredded - 4/24

Thanks to Sarah Ireland and IRG Properties, our next quarterly community shredding event is on Saturday April 24th from 8:00 a.m. to Noon. Bring your documents that need shredding (like those old tax forms and checks) to Rush Park and watch them get shredded on site. If you're not quite ready to get shredded, our next event will be on July 31st. Mark your calendar now.

Community Shredding Event on 4/24

Speeder of the Month

In an effort to help our members and residents keep in mind that the speed limit in Rossmoor is 25 m.p.h. unless otherwise posted, we have started to note high speed traffic during the month. Using a radar gun to estimate the speed of vehicles on the streets of Rossmoor, we note the time, make and model of vehicles that are speeding.

The hope is that if we all pay more attention to our speed while driving in Rossmoor and your calls into the CHP reporting speeders, that we can improve vehicle and pedestrian safety.

Please Call the CHP

CHP Officer Mussleman has asked us to call the Westminster CHP office if you see (or hear) speeding on your street. Please call them and share the time and location where you saw (heard) the issue. This information will help the officers who do patrol Rossmoor know where and when to look. Help them slow down the traffic in Rossmoor.

If you have family members (kids, grandkids, nieces or nephews) or know of parents who are looking for fun activities and adventures, share The Youth Center's CAMP SHARK (ages 5-12) and TEEN CAMP (ages 12-16) with them. Both programs are based here in Rossmoor are vary affordable, and filled with all sorts of science, arts & crafts, games, water days and fun... lots of fun.
