Rossmoor Red Cross Blood Drive
Next Wednesday, May 19th, is our next monthly Rossmoor Blood Drive. This month we will start at 10:00 and close at 4:00. Starting in June we will shift to a 9:00 to 3:00 schedule to free up the Rush Auditorium for evening events. Please sign up to donate the gift of life!
Friends of Library Sale

On Monday July 12th at the Rio Hondo Golf Club The Youth Center is holding their annual tournament. This is a fantastic event and is always more fun than you should have during the week. Artillery Fire Saturday on Joint Forces Training Base
The sound of artillery fire will echo across communities surrounding Joint Forces Training Base on Saturday, May 15, commemorating the change of command of the California Army National Guard's 100th Troop Command.
The traditional artillery salute by three M119A3 howitzers of the Cal Guard's Bravo Battery,1st Battalion, 143rd Field Artillery Regiment, will highlight the ceremony that will get underway at 10 a.m.
Test firing of the artillery will take place Saturday morning between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. in conjunction with ceremony rehearsals.
