Foodie Festival This Saturday 6/19

This Saturday (June 19th) at Rush Park from 2-8 pm the RCSD is hosting the first Family Foodie Festival of the summer! (Well, it's a day before summer officially begins, but who's counting?) Come out and enjoy the food, live music (The Stone Soul Band), crafts and the Kids Carnival. The event is free and families are encouraged to attend.

RCSD Announces Special Meeting

The RCSD has called a Special Meeting on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Rush Park. The meeting will begin at 7:00pm. The meeting is to review and possibly take action regarding upholding, modifying, cancelling and/or rescinding the approval of a facility user permit for the Orange County Board of Education for use of the Rush Park Auditorium for ethnic studies forums on July 27, 2021 and August 24, 2021. RHA Election Results & New Officers

At the June RHA Board meeting, the Chair of the RHA Elections Team, Frank Facey announced the annual Board of Director election results.

Pei-Pei Kelman, Jo Shade, Art Remnet, Emily Knell, Dorothy Fitzgerald, and Gary Stewart were all re-elected and long time resident Kevin Pierce was elected to the Board for the first time.

Following the election results the Board elected the following officers for the 2021-2022 year:

President: Art Remnet

1st VP: Marian Last

2nd VP: Frank Facey

Secretary: Ralph Vartabedian

Treasurer: Pei-Pei Kelman

The RHA would like to thank all of you who voted in the election and the new Board looks forward to serving the Rossmoor community in this coming year.

RCSD Family Foodie Festivals @ Rush Park

The Rossmoor Community Services District is hosting Family Foodie Festivals at Rush Park this Summer. These free Saturday events run from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and will feature live music, top OC Food Trucks, Creative Craft vendors and a Kids Carnival.

Here are the dates and scheduled bands:

June 19 - Stone Soul Band
July 17 - King Salmon Band
August 14 - The Emperors
September 11 - Gregg Young Band
