Today in Rossmoor will be all about the 2021 Graduation Celebration Parade. And we hope you will join us in the celebration! 

The registration lists are printed and the staff is ready to check the parade participants in (remember to bring your registration page for faster check-in) and the teachers are preparing to cheer along the route. 

Graduation Parade Route

The Graduation Celebration Parade route is here. We start from the Shops at Rossmoor parking lot and head toward Rush Park, then to Hopkinson, Weaver, Lee and Rossmoor Park (mostly along Foster). After rounding Rossmoor Park, the route heads toward Rossmoor School before returning to the Shops parking lot. The Parade should start into Rossmoor from the Shops at about 12:30 this afternoon.

We would love for you to line the route (especially at the schools and parks) and cheer out graduates. And if you take any photos or videos, please share them with us here so we can post them for the neighborhood to enjoy.

Bulky Item Pick-up Reminder

It's almost mid-year and that's a good time to remind you that CR&R will provide up to two (2) bulky item collections per calendar year.  A bulky item consists of up to four (4) items per pick up or up to 20 bundles or bags of green waste. The service is provided at no additional cost. In addition, you may schedule a free pick up of pure recyclable material such as flattened cardboard boxes or paper.

Common bulky items include:

• Couches
• Desks
• Chairs
• Tables
• Mattresses
• Excess Green Waste
• Sleeper couches
• Range
• Washer/Dryer

Universal Waste such as, Fluorescent tubes, Thermostats containing Mercury, Heat Lamps containing Mercury, and Batteries (other than automotive) are collected for a nominal fee.

Refrigerators and appliances that contain Freon and other chemicals require special handling.  Electronic Waste such as, a dishwasher, microwave, Television and Computer Peripherals may all be collected for a nominal charge.
