It was more than warm today and tomorrow we will likely be in the mid-90's with low humidity. Please make sure to hydrate and take precautions when going outside during the heat of the day. If you have neighbors who could use a door knock to make sure they are okay, this evening or tomorrow may be a good time to stop by to say "hi" just to check-in. A little neighbor-care is a good
thing.

The Graduation Celebrations are mostly over and the photos keep trickling in to us. From all accounts, the Los Al Graduation on Friday was amazing. Here are the parade and celebration
photos and videos we've collected so far. Thanks for your support. The Graduates loved the event. It's becoming a Rossmoor tradition.
Bulky Item Pick-up Reminder
It's almost mid-year and that's a good time to remind you that CR&R will provide up to two (2) bulky item collections per calendar year. A bulky item consists of up to four (4) items per pick up or up to 20 bundles or bags of green waste. The service is
provided at no additional cost. In addition, you may schedule a free pick up of pure recyclable material such as flattened cardboard boxes or paper.
Common bulky items include:
- Couches
- Desks
- Chairs
- Tables
- Mattresses
- Excess Green Waste
- Sleeper couches
- Range
- Washer/Dryer
Universal Waste such as, Fluorescent tubes, Thermostats containing Mercury, Heat Lamps containing Mercury, and Batteries (other than automotive) are collected for a nominal fee.
Refrigerators and appliances that contain Freon and other chemicals require special handling. Electronic Waste such as, a dishwasher, microwave, Television and Computer Peripherals may all be collected for a nominal charge.
