Hi
It looks like the weekend will be much warmer with high's in the upper 80's and low 90's. A bit warmer than usual, especially in the sun. Take proper precautions and stay hydrated.
The beautiful Saturday is a great opportunity to get outside and enjoy our beautiful parks. You can also join us at Rush Park for the last Family Foodie Festival of the season (2:00-8:00, live music & fun) or take in the Pacific Airshow in Huntington Beach this weekend.
Walk To School Day - Wednesday October 6th
All four Rossmoor Elementary Schools will be taking part in #WalkToSchoolDay this Wednesday, October 6th. The students, parents and family members will be gathering at either Rush Park (Weaver & Hopkinson Schools) or Rossmoor Park (Lee and Rossmoor Schools) about 7:30 a.m. and will proceed to walk to their perspective
schools.
While schools may still be a little different this year, building healthy (and fun!) habits is a big win for everyone. Connected and active kids learn better. Keep up the movement and activity all year round! Join us as we celebrate Walk to School Day on Wednesday, October 6th and kick-start healthy habits for better health. Please move your vehicles and trash cans from the street (cans can be placed on the parkway) so the sweepers can do their job. Thanks!
