It looks like a few more upper 80's days before we drop back into the lower 80s. It feels like this is going to be a rather warm summer for us.
Remember that each Thursday we have the Farmers Market at Rush Park from 4:00-7:00 p.m. There's almost always something new to see or taste at the market. Stop by and check it out.
New RHA Board Members & Officers
At our June Board meeting, the RHA welcomed new members Nia Hartman and Denise Miller to the board for their first 2-year terms. These ladies bring fresh energy and ideas to the board that will benefit both the RHA and the Rossmoor community. We are fortunate to have them be willing to serve our neighborhood.
We also elected our 2022-2023 board officers:
President: Art Remnet
First VP: Marian Last
Second VP: Frank Facey
Secretary: Denise Miller
Treasurer: Pei-Pei Kelman
These officers take their positions on July 1st.
Huge Thank You
The RHA also thanked Cathy Yee for her continuing service to the Rossmoor community with an application gift. Cathy creates the weekly OCSD Activity Reports for Rossmoor and shares them with the Board and our Neighborhood Watch Block Captains. Thank you so much for your service, Cathy.
On June 26th, we will move into Stage 2 of the California Mandatory Water Conservation & Rationing plan. There's more information here on our site but here's a summary of what this means:
