Keep Rossmoor Safe - Slow your roll to 25 MPH
Hi
We hope that you had a great weekend. As we head into the week it's looking a lot like upper70s and low 80s for the week, with mostly sunny days.
Did you make it to Saturday's Family Festival at Rush Park? It was a great day and as sun started to set, the park filled up to hear the sounds of King Salmon and the Funk Yard Horns. There were a lot of great conversations and picnics all over the park with kids (and adults too) having a great time just having fun. Remember to come out for the last Family Festival of the summer on Saturday August 13th at Rush
Park.
RCSD Director Candidacy Fillings
This November there will be two seats on the RCSD Board of Directors up for election.
If you are interested in serving the Rossmoor Community on Rossmoor's Community Services Board as a director, you will need to file with the County.
Candidates must be Rossmoor residents and file their candidacy with the County between July 18th and August 12th.
For additional details, see the county candidates page here, and select the "Director, Community Services District Board" option from the dropdown selection box.

We know that some of you can use help with your outdoor cooking skills. Here's a fun way to learn, get better, be creative, and get to know others who share your love of grilling.
The Los Alamitos/Rossmoor Library is having a cooking club event on Monday, July 18th from 11:00 to noon. Those getting together can share their successes/questions from the cookbook, and there will be a recipe made from the book for the group's enjoyment (can you say yummy?). Here's the link for more details.
If you don't already have the "How to Grill Everything" book by Mark Bittman, book, it's available online or at a local bookstore. But here's a better idea: our public library has several copies of the book that can be checked out. Either stop in or use your library card to reserve your copy for easy pickup, at your convenience. Time to get grilling
